Website Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 14 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of https://tllappin.com (the "website"). By using the website you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.

The website is run by T L Lappin Developments Group Ltd, a limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 15954417), whose registered office is at 161 Forest Road, London, England, E17 6HE. You can contact us at enquiries@tllappin.com or on 0207 101 3745.

These terms cover the website only. Any building or construction work we carry out is agreed separately (see section 3).

Please also read our Privacy Policy, available on this website, which explains how we use your personal information.

2. Using the website

You may use the website for lawful purposes only. You must not:

  • use it in a way that breaks any law or is fraudulent
  • send false, misleading or offensive information through our forms
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or any connected system
  • introduce viruses or other harmful material, or attack the site (for example by a denial-of-service attack)
  • copy or scrape content from the website in bulk

We try to keep the website available, but we don't guarantee it will always be available or free of errors. We may suspend or change it at any time.

Our content. We, or our licensors, own the copyright and other rights in the website and its content, including text, photographs of completed projects, logos and designs. You may view and print pages for your own personal use. You must not copy, reproduce or reuse our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Photos of your project. If we show photos of work at your property, we will not identify your address without your agreement. If you would like a photo removed, contact us and we will remove it promptly.

3. Information, quotes and building contracts

Information on the website. Content on the website, including descriptions of services, example prices, timescales and project photos, is general information only. It is not professional advice about your property and is not an offer to carry out work. Every project is different, so please speak to us before relying on anything on the site.

Quote requests. Submitting an enquiry or quote request does not create a contract. Any estimate given online or by phone is a guide only. A firm quotation will be given in writing, usually after a site visit, and will state how long it remains valid.

How contracts are formed. A contract for building work is only formed when you accept our written quotation. The quotation, and any terms we give you with it, will set out the price, payment arrangements, timescales and other details of the work. These website terms do not apply to that work.

Consumers' cancellation rights. If you are a consumer and agree a contract with us away from our business premises (for example at your home), you will normally have 14 days to cancel. We will give you full details of this right in writing before any contract is made.

4. Liability, links and legal matters

Our liability. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under English law.

Subject to that:

  • If you are a business, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the website, including loss of profit, business or data.
  • If you are a consumer, we only provide the website for domestic and private use. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses.
  • We are not responsible for damage to your device or data caused by viruses or harmful material, though we take reasonable steps to prevent this.

Links to other websites. Links to third-party sites, such as suppliers or accreditation bodies, are for your information only. We have no control over those sites and are not responsible for them.

Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Please check this page when you use the website.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
